women we honor are not just changing their own circumstances; they’re changing
the world, working everyday to empower other women and girls to be strong,
smart, and bold.

Medalist in Softball, who inspires girls and women to be strong, physically active and
confident.
Janet Holmgren, President of Mills College,
who encourages young women to be smart and pursue higher education.
Judge Gail Brewster Bereola, Alameda County Superior Court, who strengthens communities with a bold commitment to juvenile and
restorative justice.
The
luncheon will be held April 23, 2010 from 12:00pm – 1:15pm at Scott’s Pavilion
on Jack London Square
in Oakland.
This event raises almost $60,000 for our girls, and we hope to exceed that goal
this year as we launch the final stage of Girls Inc.’s annual fundraising
campaign.
